^_^ my first time I ever made French Toast! It was might tasty!
And yeah those are my husband's feet in the top corner :)

^_^ we spent our honeymoon at home playing visitor downtown and around the harbor, this pretty sight greeted us early one morning at the harbor.

:) and this one too, though I'm not entirely sure why the sidewalk looks wavyish

^ these are the fishies we saw at the Aquarium (aqua.org -ever come into town, go because it's totally worth it) and some random reflections in the glass.

^ the 3 finned turtle at the Aquarium, he was awesome! (apparently I found the turtles and sting rays the most interesting creatures i the entire place, aside from Kevin of course! hehe)

hehe evil veggie that we encountered while making diner one night recently.
It amused me, I figured I'd share it.

still in honeymoon phase

It's hard to believe I'm actually MARRIED!

Lead up to the big day was, well, chaotic. I only worked (at my real job) a day and 1/2 the week leading up to the wedding but boy did a lot happen that week. We planned to moved on that Friday and Kevin came downtown early in the week, so that we could hang out and relax downtown some. I called the leasing office to ask if someone needed to be there for BGE to set up the electric (no one did) and got some bad news.

They informed me that they were just about to call me (!) and that there was a slight issue (at this point my gut felt full of sand) and our apartment unfortunately was not ready for move in. But not to worry (what? me? worry? HA) that they had another apartment on hold for us in another complex barely a mile away, held by the same company. I might not have minded so much if I didn't recognize the place as an apartment Kevin and I considered then promptly forgot about after reading the reviews. The alternate apartment was (according to the website) 100 sq feet SMALLER than the apartment we had already signed for, in a worse neighborhood and had received nearly a 15% lower rating then our apartment. I nearly had a melt down on the phone at my desk in the lobby. yeah. it was bad.

Thankfully, just as I'm about to burst into tears of frustration and hopelessness, Kevin got off the elevator and calms me down and I hang up on the woman. After we chatted some and he called his dad for advice, he called back again, being a bit more rational and politely letting them know that the situation was unacceptable and if we could not meet a compromise that we would be contacting a lawyer- after that of course, they were much more helpful.

In the end, we were allowed to move in on Friday, but not till noon. When Kevin made it to the office (still unsure how he beat us there) he was informed that we had never paid rent. Of course, at this point, my head *explodes*. My father and I had to rush to the liquor store for a money order (apparently the only kind of payment they accept other than online payments). I would not have minded paying rent except for the fact that we had been in contact with the office nearly EVERY DAY for 2 weeks and they waited till MOVE IN DAY to tell us this?! Yeah. I was pretty ticked.

BUT... it's all over now. Things still make me angry but they did play nice and bought us a new dishwasher (the old one sounded like a dying elephant) and have since been fairly helpful and polite. Let's just hope it lasts.

dun dun dunnnn... THE DRESS!

^_^ found here. Yes, I admit, it's a bridesmaid dress. But it's a very pretty white bridesmaid dress that I wore to my wedding :-D

I bought it at Lily's Bridal in Bel Air (however unfortunately they recently closed) and paid just over $300 with alterations (done elsewhere) and a pin I swooned over in Lily's.

Here is the link for the other Lily's Bridal in MD (which I'm sad to say was a tragic disappointment to me, however while the store in Bel Air was open, they were fabulous- I just hope the people from that store make an impact on the one in Glen Burnie) and here is a link to the tailor I used- yes, the site is lacking but I decided to at least meet the guy after a coworker and good friend recommended him. I fell in love. If I ever need anything tailored again, he will be the one I call.

yeah. So, I'll be posting a tad less often but hopefully I plan to keep up with this!
